Thursdays - Feeding His Flock Community Supper at the United Methodist Church in McCook.  Everyone is invited to a free, hot, nutritious meal without any obligation or charge.  The meal is served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, located in the basement of the Methodist Church. The Church is on the corner of Norris Avenue and E Street.

Blood Draws and Labs:  2nd Thursday of each month at the Red Willow County Health Department at Health Fair Prices.  Call for an appointment:  345-1790 or 1-877-250-2057.  The Red Willow Health Department is located on the Fair Grounds in McCook at 1405 West 5th Street.

Habitat for Humanity - is in great need of volunteers and/or donations for it's charitable projects in the area. To make a donation call the bank at (308)-345-4240 ask for Tami.  For additional information on Habitat for Humanity in general call Elda Shields at (308)-345-3452.

Alzheimer's Support Group:  Meetings are the second  Tuesday of each month.  Anyone dealing with dementia in any capacity is welcome to attend.  Meetings are held at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCood at 4:30 pm.  For more information contact Colinda Nappa at 345-4600.

Free Youth ATV Training:  Mid Plains Community College will offer ATV training for youth ages 6-16.  The classes will  be held in two sessions with the participant choosing which session is best for himor her.   The session times are:   9 am to noon and 1-4 pm. ATVs in different sizes will be used during the training.  Parents of children younger than 10 must stay for their child's class.  Those who complete the program will receive a cer5tificate that aligns with insurance company requirements.  Classes in Benkelman are June 14 at the Dundy County Fairgrounds; June 15th in McCook at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds, June 21 in Imperial at the Chase County Fairgrounds.  Space is limited to 6 students in each session.  Pre-registration is required by calling:  308-535-3678.

8th Annual Shred Day:  Am First Bank of McCook will hold a shred day on April 21st at the bank located at 602 West B Street in McCook.  You are welcome to drop off your items early starting April 17th during regular lobby hours of 8:30am -4 pm.  Items will be kept in a secured location.  A limit of 10 boxes per person.  For more information call 345-1555.

Missoula Children's Theater:  Auditions for The Frog Prince will take place on Monday, April 24th at the McCook Junior H8igh Cafeteria.  Registration is 3:30 pm with auditions at 4 pm.  Auditions are open to all area K-12 students.  Performances are Saturday,  April 29th at 3 pm and at 7 pm at the McCook High School Auditiorium.  For more information call:  Gene Weedin at 308-340-5746.

Heritage Antique Tractor and Gas Engine Show:  April 29th at the Kiplinger Arena Building on the Red Willow Fair Grounds.  Free Admission.  Gates open at 9 am on Saturday.  Demonstrations, hit and miss engines, tractor demos, corn shelling, flea market and more.  Tractor rodeo at 1 pm
