Thursdays - Feeding His Flock Community Supper at the United Methodist Church in McCook.  Everyone is invited to a free, hot, nutritious meal without any obligation or charge.  The meal is served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, located in the basement of the Methodist Church. The Church is on the corner of Norris Avenue and E Street.

Blood Draws and Labs:  2nd Thursday of each month at the Red Willow County Health Department at Health Fair Prices.  Call for an appointment:  345-1790 or 1-877-250-2057.  The Red Willow Health Department is located on the Fair Grounds in McCook at 1405 West 5th Street.

Alzheimer Support Group:  Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of each month.  Anyone dealing with dementia in any capacity is welcome.  Meetings are at the Hillcrest Nursing Home at 309 West 7th Street in McCook.  For more information call Colinda Nappa at 308-345-4600.

Heritage Days in McCook:  September 20-24, 2017.  Highlights include:  Parade on Saturday down Norris Avenue at 10 am, Arts and Craft Show at Norris Park on Saturday starting 9 am to 6 pm  and on Sunday  11 am to 4 pm; Heritage Cemetery Tour on Sunday at Riverview and Memorial Park Cemeteries at 2 pm.

Humane Society Garage Sale:  October 27, 2017 2 pm to 7 pm and October 28th from 9 am to 4 pm at the 4-H Building on the Red Willow County Fair Grounds in McCook.  Items can be donated on Wednesday and Thursday, October 25-26 from 8 am to 5 pm at the 4-H Building on the Red Willow County Fair grounds in the 1500 block of West Fifth.  For more  information:  308-340-3852.
