Thursdays - Feeding His Flock Community Supper at the United Methodist Church in McCook.  Everyone is invited to a free, hot, nutritious meal without any obligation or charge.  The meal is served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, located in the basement of the Methodist Church. The Church is on the corner of Norris Avenue and E Street.

Blood Draws and Labs:  2nd Thursday of each month at the Red Willow County Health Department at Health Fair Prices.  Call for an appointment:  345-1790 or 1-877-250-2057.  The Red Willow Health Department is located on the Fair Grounds in McCook at 1405 West 5th Street.

Alzheimer's Support Group:  Meetings are the second  Tuesday of each month.  Anyone dealing with dementia in any capacity is welcome to attend.  Meetings are held at Hillcrest Nursing Home in McCood at 4:30 pm.  For more information contact Colinda Nappa at 345-4600.

Storm Spotter Training Class:  Sponsored by the National Weather Service at Goodland, Kansas.  McCook Class March 29th at 6:30 pm at the Heritage Senior Center at 1312 W. Fish Fry Fridays:  The McCook Knights of Columbus 28th annual Frish Fry Fridays, 5:30 - 7:30 pm each Friday, March 3, 10, 17, 24, and April 7 at the KC Hall at 309 East Ninth.  Cost is $9 for adults, $4 for children under 12, all you can eat.  Menu includes baked, cajun, or beer batterfish, coleslaw, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, garlic bread, tea, collfee and dessert.  Kids menu is available. 

Community Leneten Services:  Fridays during the Lenten Season that starts on March 3, 2017.  These will be held at the First congregational Church in McCook every Friday during lent from Noon to 1 pm.  A different area pastor will preach each week.  Lunch will follow.  A free will donation will be taken for the lunch and for the on going work of the Red Willow County Ministerial Association. 

Southwest Nebraska Community Theatre production of Beauty and the Beast:  Fox Theater in McCook on March 11, 12, 14, 17, 18, and 19.  Show times are 7:30 pm or 2 pm on Sunday matinee.  Tickets available at the door for each performance or in advance at Kool Honda and Hershberger Music Store in McCook. 

Curtis Easter Pageant:  April 9th-Palm Sunday- at 3 pm at the Medicine Valley High School Gymnasium in Curtis, Nebraska.  Opportunity for photos and video taping during dress rehearsal on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 7 pm.  No photos or video taping is allowed during the Palm Sunday performance.  The Easter Pageant presents the Easter story in 17 living picture scenes and a live choir.
