It's that Time Again - If you earn under $50,000 a year you are eligible for free tax filing assistance for the April 17 deadline. The free help is of course offered by IRS-approved staff. Call the McCook office at (308)-345-1187 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Thursdays - Feeding His Flock Community Supper at the United Methodist Church in McCook.  Everyone is invited to a free, hot, nutritious and meal without any obligation or charge.  The meal is served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall, located in the basement of the Methodist Church. The Church is on the corner of Norris Avenue and E Street. 

Free Course - Free internet courses are being offered at the McCook Public Library. Ronni Harding will be assisting patrons in everything from basic computer skills to more advanced needs. The classes are offered by appointment on Tuesday evenings, Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings. Please call the Library at: 308- 345-1906 with any questions or to set up an appointment.

McCook Cook Books -  The good people at the Methodist Church are selling books books and more books, full of tasty recipes for the fall and winter.  The cook books are $10 each, proceeds will go to help fund the "Feeding His Flock" Community suppers.  The books are available for purchase at the church office or from any NOW committee Member.  If you want to reserve a book call the church at (308)-345-2445.
